Our team of residential interior designers in Birmingham are always up for a challenge, and we were thrilled to take on the task of making our client’s new property in Edgbaston feel like their own, by giving it an added personalised touch.
With a turnaround time of 20 weeks, we began working right away on designing a unique, contemporary space that reflected our client’s own personal style.
The ground floor of the property presented us with a large space that would be the heart of the home. We structured the space into distinct areas, creating a functional yet cohesive flow between the open plan kitchen, dining, and family lounge. Our residential interior designers incorporated modern, high-quality materials and finishes to give the space a sleek and contemporary feel. By introducing bespoke TV media wall with inset metal detailing and real stone tops we added a sense of luxury to the scheme.
In addition to the open plan area, we designed a separate lounge, study, and cloakroom off the central entrance hall, providing our client with a variety of spaces to relax and entertain guests.
The bedrooms were designed with feature walls that added character and depth to each space. We selected statement furniture pieces and added complementary cushions, pillows, and throws to complete the look.
To further add a sense of personality and vibrancy to the space, our residential interior designers decided to juxtapose the neutral tones of the walls, sofas, and carpet with bold and vibrant patterns in the form of window dressings, bedroom chairs, and living room paintings. The use of contrasting patterns and textures has created an energetic and playful atmosphere that adds a sense of dynamism and interest to the interior. The bold patterns also serve as a focal point in the otherwise minimalist space, drawing the eye and adding visual interest.
