The project began with a tired 4-bedroom detached house, yearning for a contemporary revival, in the sought after area of Altrincham, Cheshire. Cream & Black were entrusted with the reins of Interior Design, embarking on a journey to redefine and rejuvenate the property.

The residence, once a testament to classic design, had evolved into a tired version of its former self. Cream & Black saw an opportunity to breathe new life into its bones. The challenge was met with enthusiasm, as the team envisioned a contemporary transformation that would seamlessly blend with the timeless allure of Cheshire.

Understanding the client’s aspiration for an open and inviting atmosphere, our primary focus was on integrating an expansive, open-plan living and kitchen space. In close collaboration with the architect, we strategically designed the interior of the extension to serve as a versatile family hub, offering panoramic views of the lush gardens at the rear of the property.

The design narrative took inspiration from the enchanting surroundings of Cheshire. Natural light was embraced, and the landscape seamlessly became a part of the interiors. The result is a home that not only stands as a testament to contemporary design but also pays homage to the enduring charm of its location.
