Get to Know Emma

Emma is our Interior Designer, Emma honed her design expertise working on luxury residential projects in central London before moving on to working on commercial projects. She has an amazing eye for colour and print, which stemmed from her degree in Textile Design. ⁠

 

How would your best friend describe you in 3 words?

Apparently… Loving, determined & brave.

 

What is your favourite TV Series and why?

This is Us, because it takes you through the highs & lows of the heartbreaking & beautiful moments in life. It is like watching life unfold through a window.

 

What is your favourite cream&black project?

It has to be our Worcestershire residence – essentially a country estate. When I first stepped into this house I was wow’d by the beautiful Georgian architectural details. In my opinion it is the perfect English country home. This is the type of project that will be ongoing for years to come, with plenty of work to be done, bit by bit. The property is owned by a close client of Cream & Black and having worked on several of their projects, I think by now we know them pretty well – my passion is to design for people, getting to know our clients and understanding their dreams & desires for a project is an essential part of the process. This one ticks all the boxes!

 

Would you rather know the history of every object you touched or be able to talk to animals?

Oh, without doubt be able to talk to animals. I talk to my dog every day – I’m sure she knows what I am saying, she looks at me with her big dopey eyes. Imagine if one day she talked back!!! I’d also love to have a conversation with an elephant, such wise creatures – I’m sure they’d teach me a thing or two. I would also tell all the suffering animals, there are good humans in the world trying their best to rescue you all.
