Northern Deisgn Awards 2015 Finalist

Cream and Black are Happy to announce we are finalists in the 2015 Northern Design Awards, shortlisted for:

• Residential Interior Designer Of The Year
• Conversion Of The Year
• Interior Design Project Of The Year

We have entered our Stableside Property for Conversion of The Year;

Our client wanted to link the interior design to the building’s history, it was originally a large four car garage, and we created a desirable three bedroom home which included full renovation.

We designed the kitchen, dining and living area of this project to be open plan to maximize the natural light that floods in from the large windows we installed.

Our ideas were heavily influenced by the desire to mix different materials. The Architectural designs detail the mixture of galvanized steel, copper, brass, timber and chrome. A great example of this is the staircase and the space around it. The staircase is steel, timber and glass, whilst exposed pipework near this is galvanized steel and copper which link really well together.
