Space planning is a dying art in the architectural world and having worked with multiple design practices C&B are exceptional at the fundamentals. Garden Room
We instructed Cream & Black to help design and furnish our Garden Room.
Our brief was an all seasons room, with a contemporary finish. Somewhere you could get all cosy near the fire in winter. And somewhere where you could enjoy drinks from the bar with the sliding doors open in the Summer – bringing the outside in.
From start to completion C&B have been so friendly, approachable, responsive and professional. Nothing has been too much effort or work. They have been very flexible tweaking plans and budgets.
Special thanks to Laura and Jess who have been at the forefront of the project. And all the team behind the scenes.
Laura and Jess had to do most of the design meetings over zoom and through various lockdowns, but it has been amazing to see it all come together under tricky COVID working conditions.
We are really enjoying the space (and using the bar!) and have had so many complementary comments from family and friends that have enjoyed it with us too!

Harborne Residence
The guys were unbelievably professional. Helping me and my wife understand from the roots design structure and sticking to the brief going above and beyond what we were expecting. Hannah & Laura made our house feel huge on the inside by cleverly using natural light and light/fresh colour combinations. They were always there to hand if we needed them and they helped turn our house into something more than we could have dreamt of!

Family Home, East Midland
I highly recommend Cream & Black for all your interior design needs. We hired the team to do a complete refurbishment of our home in the East Midlands.
From start to finish Hannah, Laura and the team were extremely warm and professional. From our first meeting I could tell they instantly understood my style and they completely nailed the brief I gave them and were able to bring my vision to life.

Edgbaston Residence
We bought the house to be near to the centre of town but in a beautiful residential area. We immediately liked the impressive entrance hall and could see that the large garden grounds at the back could allow us to create a contemporary feel in an old property.
Our instruction to Cream & Black was to create a modern minimalist character which entailed knocking down a certain walls to open up the house. The look and feel of the house needed to be light with neutral colours to help show off our art work. A lot of design and building work needed to be done and Cream & Black handled this all with skill and aplomb.
We moved in with the help of Cream & Black and the whole process was exceptionally smooth despite the challenges of Covid 19. In a very short space of time it became home to my wife, myself and our 15 year old twins. They both loved their bedrooms and workspace which was exceptionally designed. As busy people running a worthwhile charity, we did not have a lot of time to spend on details. Effectively we handed everything over to Cream & Black and they did not disappoint, giving care and attention to the minutest detail.

We’re incredibly impressed with the end result, which is testimony to Cream & Black’s ability to highlight the building’s existing architecture and blend it with the newer and more modern design features.
What has been achieved, especially in such a short space of time, is truly remarkable. We now have an office environment that’s as aesthetically-appealing as it is functional. The overall workspace flow has provided our businesses with the freedom and flexibility to come together and work in an open plan environment, as well as operate just as effectively within their own working spaces, when required. Our Group is renowned for delivering pioneering services and so it was only fitting that our offices should reflect the same forward-thinking nature to our staff, customers and visitors too.
Kensington Residence
Cream and black did the whole interior design on our house and what an amazing job they did ! Hannah, the creative director has an amazing talent for sourcing and styling the most beautiful, furniture, and fittings. The result was a real contemporary, classy, stylish look but with a very warm and cozy feel. This met our requirements perfectly! I have to say that while the team consulted with us, they didn’t need much briefing…we felt like we were in the hands of true professionals, who knew exactly how to meet our needs right from the outset! We have had no end of compliments since the house was done, and I feel so proud to be living here.
